Ever since our LandsofAmerica.com buyer’s property was purchased, the beautiful lakes included in the property have done nothing but get lower and lower. Texas experienced the worst drought of the past few decades, and is still reeling from the losses of agricultural product, deaths of thousands of trees, raging forest fires that lasted for weeks, and waterfront land and docks being left dry and far away from the dwindling lakes they were built on.

Well it's starting to really come together and not look like a bunch of boards nailed to each other.  The barn is transforming into a lodge and it's great being able to stand in the bedrooms to see what area they'll have; look from the upstairs to see the view it'll have over the den; stand in the equipment barn area to see what'll fit in there and what won't.

LandsofAmerica.com had our first annual Feb 14^th potluck dinner today at our national headquarters in Austin, Texas.

The SkyTrak is really coming in handy now.  The RBI Team is 35 feet up in the air building the roof over the high point of the barn - the middle row.  They have the frame portion done and are roofing it in now.

Buying or selling real estate in today’s market requires owner(s) or prospective owner(s) to understand more than just the comparative value of the investment they are about to transact. With the guarantee of real estate appreciation only a memory, the potential for financial miscalculation is now a very real possibility and must be understood as part of the equation. Establishing a sale price or deciding to purchase, based on what the neighboring property sold for may work for a tract house or condominium but could lead to a huge mistake when it comes to the sale or purchase of land, ranch and farm ground, waterfront or recreational properties.

The wood is starting to go up all over the barn now.  The RBI Team has doubled in size and dust is stirring up around that barn site from all the activity like you wouldn't believe.  It's awesome!  We're going to just let the photos tell the story today...
